HMS Devonshire heading west across the North Atlantic.

The first of the 'County Class' destroyers, HMS Devonshire was an anti-aircraft destroyer armed with the Seaslug guided weapon system. In this painting she can be seen making her way through particularly heavy seas towards the USA to take part in live firing trials of the Seaslug missile.
